Finance Officer
Robert Half is working with a highly regarded organisation based in the heart of the Perth CBD. With a strong presence in their industry and a commitment to delivering excellence, this business is entering a busy period and is looking to bring on board a Finance Officer to support the finance team through a 4-month temporary assignment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys variety in their day and is confident working across multiple areas of transactional finance. You'll be joining a supportive and collaborative team who value accuracy, efficiency and a positive attitude.The role is well-suited to someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and eager to make a meaningful contribution from day one.
The Role- Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Assisting with month-end reporting and journal entries
- Managing employee expense claims and reimbursements
- Supporting the Finance Manager with ad hoc finance and administrative tasks
- Previous experience in a similar Finance Officer or role
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
- Confident using Excel and financial systems (prior exposure to large ERP systems is desirable)
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Available to commence at short notice and commit to the full contract term
