As a Sales Manager in the Independent Software Vendor Business (ISV) at Amazon Web Services you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology for this segment of high potential set of software vendor customers.

Your responsibilities will include: team management, focusing on scaling programs that drive adoption in named accounts, revenue, and market penetration across your assigned accounts.

In Australia, AWS ISV customers include some of the most innovative software vendors like SafetyCulture, Whispir, MYOB, SiteMinder and CultureAmp.

Your responsibilities will include building and managing a highly talented sales team focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration across our software vendor segment. The ideal candidate will possess a sales management background across technology accounts that will enable them to lead a team of account managers and sales representatives with engagements at the CxO level, manage a sales pipeline, and lead sales efforts that will include teaming with AWS specialized sales (eg, AI/ML), solutions architects, and partners within commercial AWS accounts.

They should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions while working cross-organizationally to build consensus.

Key job responsibilities
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
  • Invent and simplify for an on behalf of our customers to scale their impact.
  • Drive & accelerate adoption in assigned accounts.
  • Develop a long term vision and deploy short term flexible tactics.
  • Manage numerous accounts concurrently & strategically.
  • Maintain a robust customer pipeline.
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.

10+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
5+ years of sales management experience
Experience in management of large, complex enterprise accounts or equivalent Experience leading in a customer-facing role in the technology industry or equivalent

Experience negotiating complex deals with customers and partners or equivalent
