Chocolate Production Team Member – Junior Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing business. You’ll work with a dedicated team, expanding your skills in the creative food industry while contributing to the craft of exceptional chocolate.
At Hunted + Gathered, we create organic chocolate from bean to bar in our Cremorne headquarters. Our philosophy is simple: the best products are made from the best ingredients, and they should taste as good as they look. We focus on the details that make every product something to be proud of.
About the Role:

We’re looking for someone to join our chocolate production team. Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll play a key role in producing our wholesale chocolate. You’ll also help keep the production kitchen running smoothly by handling stock, completing daily preparation tasks, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

You’ll ensure recipes, methods, and food safety documentation are up to date and adhered to throughout the production process.

Responsibilities:

Complete end-to-end chocolate production, including sorting, roasting, tempering, wrapping, and packaging.
Ensure chocolate production aligns with recipes and established methods.
Meet production volumes as requested by the Production Manager.
Set up and pack down the production kitchen daily.
Complete and sign off on daily cleaning and task checklists at the end of each shift.

Conduct ongoing quality control of all ingredients, products, and stock, reporting any issues to the Production Manager.

About You:

You have a positive, can-do attitude.
Kitchen experience is preferred, but eagerness to learn is essential.
You’re self-motivated and can work both independently and as part of a team.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You’re methodical, highly organised, and detail-oriented.

You combine creativity with process-oriented thinking and take genuine pride in your work.

What We Offer:

A supportive team environment with opportunities to learn and grow.
Hands-on experience in the craft of bean-to-bar chocolate making.
The chance to work with high-quality, ethically sourced ingredients.
