AV Service Technician/Electronic Equipment Trades Worker - Melbourne

We are now seeking a motivated, technically skilled AV Service Technician/Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join our growing team. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality AV solutions to our clients across various sectors, including education, healthcare, and corporate environments.
Location: Vermont, VIC 3133Role: Full time
Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 (depending upon experience)
About the role:
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Install, test, and commission electronic systems including AV equipment, communications systems, and security technology for corporate events
- Diagnose and test a variety of electronic equipment and systems to identify faults
- Adjust, repair, or replace defective components, including circuit boards, wiring, sensors, and connectors
- Liaise with clients and provide on-site support and technical guidance
- Install and calibrate audio visual reproduction equipment and control systems
- Record and maintain service reports and equipment performance
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and participate in ongoing training programs
- A minimum of Certificate III or Diploma in a relevant field. An extensive experience will substitute requirement of the qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience working in installing and maintaining electronic equipment, such as AV systems or communications technology.
- Experience working in Australian AV/event environments is required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of Live Sound Engineering & FOH (Front of House) Mixing and networking and IT systems related to AV equipment.
- Understanding AV Equipment Setup, Operation & Troubleshooting
