Position Overview:
Aquatic Leisure Technologies is seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Moulder to join their manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves the preparation and casting of metal components critical to the production of high-quality fibreglass swimming pools.The successful candidate will operate and maintain casting equipment, collaborate with engineering teams, and ensure moulding procedures meet the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform moulding and casting of metal parts used in the fibreglass pool manufacturing process.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain casting and moulding machinery.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to interpret mould designs and technical specifications.
- Inspect moulds and final castings for quality assurance, addressing defects where necessary.
- Maintain production records and support continuous improvement of moulding techniques.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of moulds to ensure optimal function.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certificate in Engineering, Fabrication Trade, Foundry, or an equivalent qualification in metal moulding or casting.
- Proficiency in mould preparation, metal pouring, and finishing techniques.
- Strong understanding of moulding equipment, tools, and safety procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed production specifications.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
-Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar manufacturing or foundry role.
