About the Position
We are looking to welcome a Child and Family Consultant to work collaboratively to provide holistic assessment and support planning.- Full time position until 14 March 2025.
- Level 5 under the SCHCADS Award. Salary range is $97,378 - $101,788 + Super.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting Child Safety in engaging with the child and their family.
- Enabling, supporting, and informing a holistic response to the child and their family.
- Undertaking a targeted assessment of a family’s strengths and needs.
- Assisting the child and their family to access the support and services they need.
- A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (allied health, social work, human services).
- At least five (5) years’ experience working with children, young people and their families who have been impacted by trauma or have experienced abuse and neglect, or more than five years’ experience working in
- Expertise in family functioning, parenting and attachment, including assessing family relationships and parenting capacity and functioning.
- Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
