McCartins Hotel Working alongside our talented kitchen team, you’ll be preparing and presenting classic, produce-driven dishes made from scratch. Ensure consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation. Work across various kitchen sections, including grill, pan, and dessert stations. Adhere to food hygiene, safety regulations, and HACCP standards. Assist with menu development, recipe creation, and ingredient selection.
Monitor stock levels and support ordering and inventory management. Provide guidance to junior kitchen staff and foster a collaborative team environment. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace. Contribute innovative ideas for new menu items and seasonal specials.

Qualification & Experience Minimum 12 months experience as a Chef, Chef de Partie, or Line Cook Strong knowledge of food, produce, and cooking techniques Ability to deliver high standards of quality and consistency Strong communication and organisational skills A passion for learning classic food preparation and wood-fired pizza Self-motivated, reliable, and punctual About Company Nestled among the rolling green hills of South Gippsland, just 15 minutes from the coast, McCartins Hotel has been a pillar of the Leongatha community for generations.
