Financial Accountant
The Company
Our client is a reputable organisation and is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Financial on an ongoing contract with the potential to go permanent. This role requires a strong background as a financial accountant, apply now for an immediate start.
The Role- Take ownership of month-end close.
- Prepare complex month-end reconciliations
- Fixed assets and accruals
- Oversee the management of the General Ledger for multiple entities.
- Manage term deposit schedules and handle the annual audit process efficiently, acting as the primary liaison with external auditors and coordinating team tasks.
- Oversee the timely preparation and review of monthly tax returns (BAS) Accountant.
- Prepare and submit annual FBT returns within regulatory deadlines.
- Manage the preparation and submission of annual tax credit returns, including franking credits, to relevant authorities.
- 5+ years' experience as a financial accountant
- CPA/CA Qualified
- Experience with Xero beneficial
- Flexible working model - 2 days WFH.
