Asian Chef

On behalf of our client Zhangliang Spicy Hot Pot, we are advertising for the post of Asian Chef to join their team based in Perth WA on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing high-quality hot pot dishes, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring excellent food presentation and taste. The Chef will collaborate with the kitchen staff to create memorable dining experiences while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Plan and develop menus in collaboration with the management.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, including line cooks and prep cooks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, OSHA).
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
• Handle special dietary requests and customize dishes as needed.

• In-depth knowledge of Asian culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavours.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Salary range : $75000 to $80000
