About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated, smart, and dedicated sales person to join us and be the first sales rep on the ground in Australia and New Zealand! Topsort has been growing in the region from sales efforts based in North America, as we pick up steam, we are growing and expanding our footprint in the ANZ region and opening an office in Sydney to better serve local customers.
As the Account Executive, ANZ - you’ll:
- Drive commercial growth for Topsort’s retail media infrastructure to our ideal customer profiles, including retailers, marketplaces, and delivery apps, to enable them to launch, scale, and optimize their retail media offering.
- Carry sales quota and consistently accomplish them or exceed them, demonstrate relentless focus and “hunter energy” to win RFPs and deals against competition - like our sports team motto “we are collaborative internally, and competitively externally” - winning is our sport!
- You are a retail media wizard, you know all the ins and outs of the industry, and will continue to build more connections from onsite workshops, client visits, coffee chats, Linkedin activities and more. You’re unstoppable and clever about opening doors!
- Be a strong voice of Topsort that guides customers through the sales cycle from prospects through the buyer journey from discovery to contract negotiation, being independent while collaborating with product, engineering, and finance counterparts to help drive a deal to the finish line. Hint - we sell a technical product, you must know the product and are comfortable speaking the API language!
- Be a subject matter expert: know everything about Topsort’s products, retail media market landscape, and stay on top of the industry trends as you will be speaking with very knowledgeable customers
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA with excellent grades and intellectual rigor from top university and preferred STEM background or economics, finance, and data science
- 7+ years of experience in sales, or background in consulting, product management, have worked with fast-growing dynamic startups, proven track record of exceeding quota in a customer facing role.
- Startup hustle and speed: You’re able to work hard, move fast, and adjust to a dynamic environment and sell to complex organizations and technical customers
- Ability to learn on the job, learn fast, and have strong curiosity for the industry and a desire to self-educate to become the expert on auctions, retail media, and marketplace monetization
