Level 2 Desktop Support Engineer
Our client is a world-class commercial and personal insurance company with operations in 54 countries. Seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join their team in Sydney CBD and North Sydney on a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
You will be required to:
- Provide second level support to 1200 users, managing computer issues, Internet, e-mail, printing, phone, software, and hardware devices.
- Troubleshoot issues over the phone and on-site using network connections.
- Resolve incident tickets for Windows 10, Mac, and Office 365 environments.
- Network Infrastructure Support
- Manage Active Directory processes.
- Travel between two locations, CBD and North Sydney, to assist VIPs and the administrative office.
- Interstate travel and travel to New Zealand may be required (Business will cover travel expenses).
- 4 + years desktop support experience
- Experience with software distribution
- The ability to learn new or unfamiliar technologies and products fast utilising documentation and online resources.
- A team-oriented attitude towards assisting colleagues and departments with technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills
