Newmans on the Park, a 105-bed residential aged care home in Templestowe, just 17km northeast of Melbourne and close to local bus routes.
About the Opportunity
Personal Care Assistants are responsible for providing quality care, support and recreational activities to our home's residents.- Provide care in line with resident's individual care needs
- Report all incidents and changes in resident behaviour to the nurses
- Complete all documentation and ensure compliance with relevant processes
- Establish positive relationships with residents
We have permanent part time positions available with mostly weekdays shifts available.
About YouTo be successful, you'll need:
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individualised Support or equivalent
- Commitment to work various hours with flexibility to pick up additional shifts
- Ability to communicate and build rapport with residents, families and team members
