An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Nurse (Bookings Perioperative Services) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Varsity Lakes Day Hospital is a standalone facility that has 3 theatres and 3 endoscopy rooms. It has admission rooms, a 12 bed first stage recovery and second stage recovery to accommodate the accompanying lists.

You will
- Work alongside the Endoscopy Clinical Care Coordinator, Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurses Endoscopy bookings
- Provide clinical care, leadership, management, education and research
- Offer guidance and support to nursing staff, students and the interdisciplinary team
- Minimise patient wait times for surgery through proactive management of comorbidities
- Utilise high-level communication skills to establish positive professional relationships with clinical leads
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
- Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Interstate/International candidates may be eligible for the Queensland Health Attraction Incentive - up $20,000!
- Permanent Part time (48 hours per fortnight)
- Base salary ranging from $54.45 - $58.30 per hour
