Salary $75,000 - $80,000 per year, plus superannuation

• Cooking food and preparing ingredients
• Ensuring high quality of dishes is maintained
• Maintaining compliance with food safety regulations
• Developing menus, assessing expenses for food and labour, and ordering supplies
• Communicating and working with waiting staff
• Training staff as required by demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
• Inspecting and managing inventory to ensure freshness and minimise food wastage

• At least 3 years of experience working in a professional kitchen as a Chef with a focus on Japanese cuisine
• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
• Diploma of Hospitality Management (Preferred)
• Solid understanding of traditional Japanese cooking techniques
• Able to prepare dishes with precision and attention to detail
• Strong attention and respect for safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
