Qualifications & Experience:
AQF Diploma and minimum one year of relevant work experience or at least three years of experience if no formal qualifications.
Task and Duties include (but not limited to)
Department Manager at McDonald's- Sales and Guest count analysis weekly monthly reports analysis, summaries and sharing KPIs and tracking with the executive manager, owner.
- Hiring and training new employees to service areas of the business that best meets the sales volumes and customer demands. designing training plans and checking in on progress
- Planning, and executing crew schedules based on careful analysis of sales patterns and crew proficiencies in all areas of the business including kitchen, drive thru, cafe, front counter etc.
- Setting and monitoring sales projections taking into consideration promotions, weather, competitive activity etc and adjusting the rosters accordingly.
- Marketing /communications Promotions activating McDonalds instore promotions and local area marketing initiatives for example McHappy Day
- Identifies the varying requirements of our customers and seeks to develop innovative solutions to meet their needs.
- Ensures a customer obsessed mindset through the management team and crew through effective training, rewards and appraisals.
- Verifying food safety daily weekly monthly minimums are met to ensure our customer safety.
- Labour analysis and planning daily weekly monthly tracking of, average hourly rate, sales per crew hour etc to ensure we have the right crew for the sales patterns whilst staying in budget.
- People compliance management such as breaks and all child labour responsibilities in line with the state legislation.
- Ensuring staff all work in a safe manner and in accordance with the McDonalds
- policies and procedures.
- Checking and planning inventory to ensure we have the right product mix and volumes to meet the demands of our local customers.
- Reporting on inventory controls and costs.
- Maintain the facilities with a focus on customer areas to ensure the best possible customer experience.
- Quality assurance of products to maintain gold standard of food and beverage production.(involves crew training and equipment maintenance
- Customer service reviews responses reviewing the online customer service portal and responding to customers and resolving issues.
- Represent the organisation at official occasions, conventions, seminars.
- Embraces and promotes the McDonalds open-door policy.
