Description:The Senior Partnerships Manager (Ground Handling) is a key product owner role, accountable for best practice ground handling standards and being the voice of our customer within Star, to enable strategic growth through key account management.
This full-time position will be based in Sydney or Brisbane and offers the opportunity to join a high-performing, collaborative team. As a ground handling specialist and product owner, you will be responsible for key account management in a customer-facing role, with occasional travel required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing best practice ground handling standards to enable the consistent delivery of Customer SOPs
- Managing key accounts to ensure the delivery of SLAs, operations performance reporting and growth opportunities
- Supporting transformation and continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on sustainable change
- Implementing a data driven approach to performance measurement, monitoring and analysis
- Evaluating and optimising contracts to ensure high quality service delivery and sustained commercial viability
- Promoting Star’s ground handling capabilities as the industry leader, combining the strength to manage with the agility to provide personalised service
- Managing new growth opportunities to deliver seamless transitions and successful operational start ups
- Supporting operations improvement action plans created by Airport Managers as the Ground Handling product owner at Star
You’ll be great in this role if you have:
- A strong track record as an exceptional leader and excellent communicator
- Demonstrated experience in ground handling within the aviation industry
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in key account management
- A passion for cultivating and implementing best practice processes and practices
- Proven stakeholder engagement management experience to establish strong partnerships and maximise customer advocacy
- Safety first mindset, with experience in managing risk and working within an established safety management system
- Effective time management skills to manage multiple (and at times conflicting) priorities, whilst delivering the best outcomes for the business
- The ability to quickly adapt to change and remain resilient in evolving environments
- The ability to travel intermittently.
