You will join an international business in Brisbane's inner western suburb as a Permanent Accounts Receivable Officer and enjoy the flexibility of two work-from-home days and flexible start/finish hours, ensuring a perfect work-life balance.

Our client is a leading innovator in the heavy machinery industry, renowned for designing, producing, and distributing cutting-edge equipment used in construction and mining. They are pioneers in developing autonomous machinery, enhancing productivity and safety in challenging environments.

In this role, you'll be part of a small, collaborative team reporting to a highly supportive Finance Manager committed to your professional growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring timely invoicing and collection of customer accounts.
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding customer payments to meet payment terms and minimize Days Sales Outstanding
  • Preparing debtor lists, contacting clients for outstanding payments, and escalating delinquent accounts.
  • Recommending actions for delinquent accounts and bad debts.
  • Produce and present accurate reports to track debtors, adhere to KPIs, document actions on bad debts, monitor customer profitability, and generate cash flow forecasts.
  • Reporting and optimizing cash flow for the business.
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, allocate payments, reconcile bank accounts daily, and process FX intercompany currency transfers.
  • Assisting with any assigned office administrative tasks and act as backup for Accounts Payable.

About you:

We are ideally seeking someone with at least 3 years of end-to-end experience in managing Accounts Receivable tasks. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling phone communications, have excellent attention to detail, and a strong willingness to learn.

Experience in producing monthly reports for management is required, and proficiency in Excel at an intermediate level is a must.
