The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager - Group Enablement to join our Group Enablement Finance team on a permanent basis. The role is responsible for partnering with diverse key stakeholders in Group Technology and Business Units to support the delivery of annual operating and strategic plans.This is a key leadership role within the Group Enablement finance team, and has 2 direct reports.
What you’ll do- Lead the design and implementation of a robust and sustainable rolling forecasting process for operating and capital expenditures (3-5 year view)
- Support the adoption of fit for purpose service view costing model, based on Technology Business Management taxonomy, that will provide transparency and completeness of cost at an application and/or service level
- Lead and support the preparation of Technology investment cases for major transformational initiatives, ensuring reasonableness of financial assumptions and measurable benefits are considered by the business units
- Work closely with the Commercial Finance team and other key stakeholders to provide insights and analysis on opportunities to optimise return on investments
- Oversee and manage the end to end budgeting, forecasting and month end processing of certain operating expenditures and Technology investments
- Play a key role in the management of Group Enablement Finance Team
- CA/CPA qualification with at least 10+ years post qualification experience
- Able to communicate complex financial information to a broad audience; able to make the complex simple
- Exceptional influencing skills/ extremely assertive and prepared to challenge or be challenged as needed.
- Previous experience in building financial models to provide support and advice on business cases development
- Advanced in project governance fundamentals and understanding of delivery methodologies (Agile and Waterfall)
- Previous experience in Technology industry in particular IaaS, SaaS, PaaS and Cloud would be highly desirable
