Part-time Assistant Accountant
The Company
Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Accountant for a growing not-for-profit organisation. The role will be for two to three days per week.
This two-month temporary role will give you valuable experience within the not-for-profit sector.
Working within a friendly team environment this role will required to take ownership of the organisation's bank reconciliation, accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Proven complex bank reconciliation experience with the ability to meet month end deadlines as well as a proven knowledge of MYOB and Excel are essential for this role
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include:
- Bank Reconciliations
- Accounts payable & accounts receivable
- Raising of requisitions
- Complex reconciliations
- Follow up and investigation of all outstanding items
- Employee expense reimbursements
- Reconciliation, reimbursement and payment of training costs
- Processing journals
- Ensuring procedures and policies are followed
- MYOB
Your Profile
To be successful you will have proven experience in a similar role and be immediately available.
Additionally you will have:
- Excellent attention to detail
- MYOB experience
- Proven complex reconciliation experience
- Ability to meet tight month-end details
- Handle at times manual processes
- Ability to start immediately
