About the role
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving growth and achieving volume and financial targets across a dynamic territory from Geelong to Portland. With a focus on both on- and off-premise customers, your role will involve building strong relationships, executing brand development plans, and ensuring compliance with promotional activities.
- Develop and execute a structured territory plan to meet customer segmentation models
- Drive new product developments and ensure effective ranging and distribution targets
- Increase brand visibility and ensure compliance with merchandising and display standards
- Deliver sales targets through effective customer negotiations and relationship management
- Manage territory budgets and leverage commercial opportunities within fixed expense limits
About you
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven individual with a passion for sales and brand development. The ideal candidate will have experience within FMCG or the wine industry, with strong negotiation, analytical, and planning skills. You will be comfortable managing your own territory, building customer relationships, and embracing change in a dynamic market.
- Proven sales and negotiation experience in a similar role
- Strong communication, influencing, and customer service skills
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage time effectively
- High integrity and concern for quality
- Accredited wine education would be highly regarded
