The Company
Our client is a privately owned business operating in the Property sector with national presence and strong revenue growth trajectory, looking to add and Accountant to their team due to increased activity and business growth.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance and working closely with the Senior Accountant, the Accountant will be responsible for a range of key tasks compliance with tax regulations, regular monthly duties are completed and continuous improvement of processes.You will be required to build strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally whilst overseeing the efficient and timely delivery of financial accounts.
Duties will include;- Work on Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) including preparation of year end workpapers, tax filings and BAS workpapers with external tax agent
- Provide tax filings for corporate entities
- Month end accounting and reporting
- Assist with fund accounting tax queries
- Manage relationship with senior internal/external stakeholders to support business decision making.
- Support Head of Finance with key projects and process improvement initiatives.
Your Profile
You will have an engaging and inquisitive nature that will lend itself to being able to understand the organisation, the nuances of a complex business and build working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
CA/CPA qualification (or close to completion) will be key, as you are a detail orientated Accountant with the ability to communicate your work and findings effectively. By showing the willingness to learn and offer an alternative viewpoint, you will enable the finance team and broader business to improve its effectiveness.
