About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of a workforce management platform implementation, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with our business objectives. Working directly with the Project Executive Committee and reporting to senior leadership, you’ll coordinate all project activities to achieve a successful rollout that delivers tangible benefits.
As a central point of contact, you will:
- Develop and Oversee Project Plans – Craft and manage detailed schedules for project milestones, workstreams, and activities.
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams – Guide a team that includes Change Managers, Functional Leads, Business SMEs, and implementation partners to meet project objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Maintain clear, consistent communication with senior management, department heads, and project stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Resource & Budget Management – Allocate resources, monitor project budget, and oversee third-party vendors to ensure optimal delivery.
- Risk Identification & Mitigation – Proactively identify, manage, and resolve project risks to avoid delays or budget impacts.
- Present Regular Updates – Provide comprehensive project status reports to the executive team, supporting informed decision-making.
Location: Sydney or Melbourne Support Office, with flexible working arrangements and brand new offices!
About YouWe are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager with a strategic mindset and a collaborative approach. Key qualifications include:
- Proven Experience: At least 3+ years managing complex workforce management platform implementations, ideally with UKG Pro WFM or similar, for organisations with over 2,500 employees.
- Industry Background: Experience in Facilities Management or Building Services is an advantage.
- Project Management Certification: PMP, PMBOK, Scrum, or equivalent certifications are essential.
- Leadership and Facilitation Skills: Strong ability to bring cross-functional teams together, leading them toward common goals and key decisions.
- Conflict Resolution and Critical Thinking: Skilled in resolving project-related issues and making fact-based, impactful decisions.
- Financial Acumen: Proficient in managing P&L for the project portfolio and applying time-boxing techniques to ensure timelines are met.
- Collaborative Approach: Comfortable working with a diverse mix of operational staff, technical teams, and external vendors.
