Manual Machinist

Mangelsdorf Engineering is currently seeking for Manual Machinist to work at our workshop based in Boulder, WA.

We are offering full-time employment with 38 hours work a week and overtime.

We are looking to employ a person of good character with positive working attitude who we hope will become a valued member of our team.

• Trade qualification in Machining – highly desirable
• Current driver’s license.
• Current work safe forklift ticket – preferred
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret drawings.

To be successful on this role, you will ideally have the following skills:

• Previous experience as a Manual Machinist using a horizontal borer, milling machine and lathe
• Set up jobs.
• Read detailed drawings.
• Use measuring instruments.
• Work in close tolerances.
• Be able to work well, individually or as a part of a team.
• Have good communication skills.
• Be a team player and have excellent working attitude.
• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking individual.
• Good understanding of OH&S.

The selected candidate will be receiving a salary within the range of $40 to $50 per hour.

A medical and drug and alcohol test will need to be passed for employment to commence.
