Phoenixia Pty Ltd has contracts with telecommunication delivery partners Downer, Lendlease and QC. Phoenixia Pty Ltd deals directly with the customers/clients and installs telephones. Further we undertake Install, maintenance and repairs for the customers/clients on behalf of NBN, TELSTRA etc., Our clients/customers include both homes and businesses.
Our employees will primarily install, maintain and repair telecommunication equipments/appliances like telephones, switchboards and data transmission equipment.
SERVICES: Phone Lines, PSTN Lines, ADSL Connections, New Phone Points, ADSL2+Drop Outs, ISDN Services, Line Faults, MDF Phone Line Connections, Installation Service, Telephone Wiring, MDF Line Jumpering, Telephone Systems, CATS & CAT6 Cabling, Socket Repairs & Crackly Lines, We need Telecommunications Network Planner / Engineer to perform the following duties and tasks:
- Handle minor telecommunications projects & supervise off-field Engineers/Technicians
- Monitoring Information Communications Networking Systems including testing network devices, equipments and systems integration
- Installing and programming Telephone, Internet & Networking Systems.
- Installing and configuring NBN services (modems and switches if required).
- Design, Plan, Build & Operate challenging/critical telecommunications systems & networks
- Plan and design Information Communications Networking Systems – Telecommunications
- Service mapping on SDH devices such as Alcatel, Nortel, Ciena, Huawei equipments.
- Configure networking system equipments from different manufacturers / service providers
- Completing Network Designs and activating services in various systems
- Installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair support of Client Radio Network systems
- Work on sites: planning, designing/drawing & monitoring the equipments & networking systems
- Design and configure appropriate / new versions of hardware and software in the equipments
- Identifying faults/problems & suggesting solutions/repairs to equipments& networking systems
- Work towards improving quality, effectiveness & efficiency of equipments& networking system
- Updating ICT equipments and enhancing existing telecommunications systems
- Provide technical support to the internal and external stakeholders
- Troubleshooting software and hardware issues with the customers.
- Identifying customer’s needs and requirements and mobilizing existing capabilities to meet their criteria.
- Take inbound calls and make outbound calls.
- Proactive engagement and effective communication with Customer Engineering teams, Customer Facing Interface teams and other internal stakeholders to facilitate the efficient and customer focused delivery of services.
- Successful completion of cutovers to support upgrades on existing customer services.
