Farm Labourer - Townsville

Farmers Workforce Australia is looking for 50 Horticultural labourers to start work in May 2025 for an employment period of 9 months, to cover the fruit and vegetable seasons. Positions will be available in the following areas:

St George QLD 4487

• Physical labour
• Picking and packing fruits and vegetables
• Planting and pruning
• Weeding and Mulching, and
• General labour as required

• Being on your feet, standing for long periods of time
• Walking long distances
• Lifting heavy objects
• Working in various conditions
• Be available for shift work as well as working the entire season

Successful candidates will be offered employment on a casual basis and paid under the Horticultural Award 2020.

Workers will be required to work 5 days a week. This role could potentially be available for additional days depending on the requirements of the harvest. General hours of work are between 6 AM and 5 PM with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
