Following significant growth and the successful launch of several new products, they require an additional DevOps Engineer to join their team in this newly created role.

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Newly created DevOps Engineer responsible for delivering highly available, scalable, reliable, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems that underpin the company's Always On customer-facing platforms.
You'll work in a small yet highly motivated and capable team and undertake a broad/varied role wearing multiple hats.
Hybrid working.
Responsibilities include:
- Architect & implement infrastructure and new features while continuously improving the SDLC process.
- Drive scalability, automation, and innovation, being an enabler for new product offerings.
- Build & integrate a modern toolset and best prices into testing, staging, and production environments.
- Offer expertise on the technical feasibility/scope of DevOps tooling/engineering
- Manage, deploy and improve Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.
- Increase/optimise CI/CD and software delivery while ensuring cost-effective and fit-for-purpose solutions.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, PERSONAL QUALITIES
Suitable for a DevOps Engineer with experience managing, improving, and scaling AWS cloud infrastructure, and deploying CI/CD.
Ideal for someone interested of joining a growing FinTech business and capable undertaking a broad role wearing multiple hats.
The following is required:
- 2-3+ years' experience as DevOps Engineer managing highly reliable and scalable workloads in AWS.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge in AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Background deploying & maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven experience with the management & deployment of APM tools.
- Experience with Container technologies.
- Good networking knowledge (TCP/IP, BGP, subnetting etc).
- Good knowledge of security & risk management.
- Financial Services industry experience is beneficial.
- Previous experience managing cloud costs and implementing cost saving measures is beneficial.
- Established documentation skills.
- Hands-on Linux experience.
- Personality & attitude - tenacious problem solver who loves learning and collaborating with others. Someone proactive with an ownership mentality is important.
