We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Chef to become a vital part of our dynamic team, contributing to our goal of creating memorable and authentic culinary experiences.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:- Menu Development and Resource Oversight: Responsible for creating diverse and appealing menus, estimating food and labor costs, and managing the procurement of ingredients and supplies.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the entire food preparation process to maintain high standards of quality and presentation from start to finish.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate closely with managers, dietitians, and kitchen or wait staff to resolve any food preparation issues and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Culinary Instruction and Technique Demonstration: Offer guidance on cooking methods and provide demonstrations to maintain consistency and efficiency in food preparation.
- Hands-On Cooking: Actively participate in cooking and dish preparation, ensuring they meet the required quality and flavor standards.
- Health and Safety Standards: Communicate and enforce kitchen hygiene and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Staff Recruitment and Training: Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring kitchen staff to improve skills and boost productivity.
- Food Storage and Preservation: Supervise the freezing, storage, and preservation of food to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery/Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or equivalent.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Thai ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Strong leadership and effective communication skills.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality food and service in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
