CASUAL DELIVERY DRIVER - Spare Parts

Mature aged applicants encouraged to apply, could be a suitable position for someone semi retired looking for a casual role.

Business Operates: Monday to Friday & Saturday Morning - casual shifts available.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintaining professional attitude, conduct and appearance.
• Take delivery instructions from Supervisor / Manager.
• Study invoices to determine which parts need to be pulled.
• Locate needed auto parts from warehouse/storage area and pull them out.
• Check paperwork corresponds to all picked auto parts for customers.
• Load parts into delivery vehicle ( car or ute )and ensure that they are properly and safely secured.
• Establishing an efficient route for delivery.
• Drive delivery vehicle to the destination by ensuring that the right speed limit is adhered to.
• Deliver auto parts to customers and ensure they are checked for accuracy and paperwork is signed for.
• Maintain driver run sheets and communicate statuses of deliveries for the company.
• Ensure vehicle is kept clean inside and outside.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar position
• Valid Drivers Licence Class C
• Good driving record and the ability to maintain it
• Safe, responsible driving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Good working relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient and professional service
• Ability to lift 15 - 20kgs
