Our client, Kurri Kurri Hotel Pty Ltd, is seeking passionate and dedicated full-time chefs for its newly opened restaurant in Kurri Kurri, NSW 2327.

Scope of the Role:- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring consistency, high quality, and adherence to food safety standards.
- Lead the execution of themed nights (e.g., Curry Night, Schnitzel Night, Burger Night, Rib Night), maintaining consistency and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain portion control, plate presentation, and cooking standards across all menu items.
- Manage kitchen operations including inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering supplies to maintain optimal levels and reduce waste.
- Monitor food and labour costs, using recipe costing and kitchen performance data to meet budgetary targets and maximise profitability.
- Implement and enforce strict food safety and hygiene practices in line with HACCP and local health regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of food storage, preparation areas, and equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to uphold service standards and kitchen efficiency.
- Execute menu items consistently to standard, ensuring quality, portion control, and timely preparation in line with kitchen expectations.
- Keep up to date with industry standards, employment regulations, and health and safety legislation.
- Address customer feedback and special requests with professionalism and care.
- Be willing to relocate if you are interstate or in other cities.
- Be available on both days at weekends and be able to work split shifts.
- Relevant hospitality degree.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Very good communication skills.
