The Role
As the Project Leader, you will take full ownership of the lifecycle for implementing a full suite ERP system. This involves establishing a comprehensive project management plan, which includes creating and maintaining registers for key project management functions.You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the project schedule, identifying any slippages, and managing critical path impacts and adjustments. Additionally, you will track spending against the approved project budget, forecast future expenditures, and provide regular updates on project status.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining project registers (issues, risks, decisions, change requests) and ensuring proactive management.
- Identifying risks and issues, developing treatment/response plans, and managing project scope.
- Ensuring traceability of approved decisions, designs, and changes.
- Coaching team members in project management practices and supporting them in escalating issues or risks early.
You will also track project interdependencies, contribute to project strategies (such as Transition, Migration, and Cut Over), conduct contract reviews, and capture additional benefits throughout the project execution.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate boasts over a decade of project management expertise, specialising in implementing ERP systems, particularly in the automotive sector. Proficient in Agile, PMBOK, and PRINCE2 methodologies, they excel in managing project budgets and navigating changing requirements.With strong communication skills, they foster collaboration across technical and non-technical teams, ensuring successful project delivery and smooth transitions.
