Retail Manager – Full-Time

Sumer Supermarket Pty. Ltd. is a well-established Indian grocery store in Laverton, offering a wide range of products, including groceries, spices, frozen foods, fresh produce, utensils, and household essentials. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Retail Manager to oversee operations and ensure an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

• Manage day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth workflow.
• Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Oversee stock management, inventory control, and merchandising.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and conflict resolution.
• Coordinate with suppliers to maintain stock levels and introduce new products.
• Manage rosters, budgets, and operational efficiency.

• Previous experience in retail management (preferably in a supermarket or Indian grocery store).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in inventory management and POS systems.
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required.
