Operations Manager

Our client is a global leader specializing in designing, manufacturing and distributing innovative medical devices focused on patient treatment and therapy. They provide problem solving solutions to achieve clinical therapy effectiveness.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, this newly created role will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations across several key business functions, including customer service, order processing, logistics, and stock management.
The Operations Manager will be required to maintain strong relationships with new and current customers to build lasting partnerships.- Lead, manage and develop the customer service team to ensure high standards of customer satisfaction driving continuous improvement.
- Oversee the entire order processing workflow, compliance, fulfilment and accuracy.
- Lead and manage the logistics function, negotiating contracts whilst optimizing processes.
- Develop and implement strategies for stock control, improving stock turnover rates and reducing inventory holding costs.
- Manage the daily running of the Melbourne office, reporting both Nationally and Internationally.
- Proven success in operational management, with a background in medical devices or manufacturing an advantage.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with employees, customers and suppliers.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with an analytical and data-driven approach

- Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
