As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

The AWS Test Automation Platform team is looking for passionate software developers to transform the way our customers improve, write and execute test automation software.We develop frameworks and services that enable teams to improve the quality of their products through testing and feedback at every stage of the software lifecycle. We make best practices the path of least resistance, our tools are automated, intelligent, ubiquitous and wherever possible we automatically perform actions on behalf of our customers/software engineers.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will:- Lead projects, requiring both business and technical domain knowledge, and drive solutions to complex or ambiguous problems with limited guidance.
- Set the team bar for writing clean, maintainable code and perform peer code-reviews.
- Drive team’s overall technical architecture, engineering practices, and engineering methodologies.
- Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against fast-paced schedules.

- 7+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Proficiency with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Python, Java, Typescript, Scala, Golang, C++ or C#- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
