What you'll do:
As the IT Operating Model Lead Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in conducting an extensive review of the current IT operating model. You will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement, designing a revised model that aligns with the organisation's strategic objectives, and implementing necessary organisational changes.Your ability to engage with key stakeholders will be crucial in ensuring alignment with proposed changes. Furthermore, you will continuously monitor the implementation process, making adjustments as needed to guarantee successful adoption and integration.
- Conduct a comprehensive IT operating model review within the organisation, assessing current structures, core ITIL processes, and supporting systems.
- Identify gaps and opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Design a target operating model that aligns with the organisation's goals and strategies.
- Implement organisational change by facilitating necessary changes in processes, systems, and structures.
- Engage stakeholders, including executives and department heads, to ensure alignment and buy-in for proposed changes.
- Monitor and adjust the IT Operating Model to ensure successful adoption and integration.
- Adhere to relevant financial management practices, quality management practices (ISO:9001), and public administration policies.
- Ensure information is managed in accordance with Departmental Information Security policy and Standards, ensuring confidentiality, availability, and integrity.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated practical working knowledge and extensive experience in designing and implementing IT operating models within an ITIL best practice framework. You should possess strong project management skills, including experience with Agile methodologies, and the ability to develop and execute delivery plans for IT organisational transformation.Expertise in leading change initiatives and managing organisational change is crucial, along with knowledge of software development tools and methodologies. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven leadership qualities are essential.
- Practical working knowledge and extensive experience in designing and implementing IT operating models within an ITIL best practice framework.
