Assistant Relationship Manager (Mandarin speaking)

• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to support credit submissions, including preparing comprehensive credit papers with detailed industry and credit analysis for Corporate and Institutional clients.
• Develop and analyze financial models, including cash flow projections and financial data, to perform in-depth financial analysis.
• Manage client onboarding, assist in transaction closures, ensure document execution, and conduct AML and KYC checks to comply with internal compliance standards.
• Participate in client meetings alongside Relationship Managers to build and strengthen client relationships.
• Support portfolio management by gathering and updating client information through public sources and direct communication, monitoring post-lending credit, updating credit ratings, risk classifications, and conducting quarterly or annual reviews.
• Contribute to performance analysis by preparing weekly and monthly reports for the CIB department, management, and Head Office.
• Coordinate with sub-branches to gather pipeline and performance updates to facilitate CIB business analysis.
• Maintain and reconcile the department's financial data periodically with the RMD and finance teams.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the department head or management to support operational needs.

• 3+ years' experience as a Relationship Manager at a corporate, institutional or wholesale bank.
• MUST speak fluent Mandarin.
• Tertiary degree in Finance or related discipline will be considered favorably;
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills,
• Possess an understanding of financial and economic markets
• Strong analytical capability and be able to engage in independent research & analysis of customers and markets, and apply critical thinking and a high level of attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure to deliver result under time constraints;
• Be able to proactively manage a transaction from origination to close.
