Motor Mechanic

Davenmarc Investments Pty Ld (Trading as Brakes Plus, an Auto Plus Franchise) are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join their friendly and professional team at their service department located at 827 Nepean Hwy. Brighton East, VIC and 1 Bond Street Mordialloc, VIC.

Candidates should have the following attributes:

• Excellent diagnostic skills
• Experience working on different makes and models of vehicles,
• Extensive experience in repairs and maintenance in line with the manufacturer and Dealership requirements
• The ability to work to schedules and meeting deadlines.
• Strong diagnostic capabilities
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubrication, parts etc)
• Excellent problem-solving skills, diagnosing, servicing and repairing
• Reliable and punctual
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Have attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship

Skills & Abilities:

• Must have a minimum of four years’ experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic or equivalent
• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or relevant
• Ability to work in a team environment

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with skills and experience
