About the Position
We are looking to welcome a People & Culture Advisor to support leaders and teams in our Social Enterprises Youthrive, Individual Support Services and Integrated Therapy Services.The position reports to the Executive Director Service Strategy and Growth and works in close collaboration with the Director People Culture and Safety. You will work across all areas of HR including recruitment and selection; onboarding; learning and development; reward and recognition; employee engagement and retention; and performance management and employee relations.
This is an ideal career opportunity for an early to mid-career HR practitioner ready to take the next step in their professional growth by joining a values-based organisation in a true HR generalist position. You will be supported and mentored by the Director People Culture and Safety to develop and refine your HR capability.
The position would suit someone with a HR flair for:
Implementing innovative recruitment and selection tactics in a competitive market; Supporting effective employee engagement, workforce development and succession planning initiatives; Providing credible advice, coaching and support to help leaders manage the performance and development of their teams.
Emerging experience in performance management, employee and industrial relations would be advantageous.
The position is full-time and offers great flexible working arrangements. You can work hybrid - from our Milton office, from your home, from our Social Enterprise office locations. Our teams are based in Queensland and some interstate, some occasional travel to regional offices will be required.

About You
Tertiary qualification in human resources, organisational behaviour or a related discipline.Minimum of 3 years' experience as a HR generalist supporting teams through the employee life cycle, particularly recruitment and selection, learning and development, engagement and retention, workforce capability development.
Emerging experience in performance management, industrial and employee relations would be advantageous.
Previous exposure to working in a commercial HR environment, bringing valuable insights and understanding of commercial dynamics.
Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Down-to-earth, caring, professional, contributing positively to team dynamics.
Other Requirements
Willingness to travel to various Social Enterprise locations as required.Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
Current driver’s licence.
Willingness to undergo and pass a Child Safety Personal History Screening Check (LCS2).
Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
