Level 2 Infrastructure/Desktop Engineer - 12-Month Contract

About the Role
As a Level 2 Infrastructure/Desktop Engineer, you'll take ownership of migration initiatives, working hands-on with customers to ensure seamless transitions. This role is solely project-focused, with no BAU tasks, allowing you to concentrate on impactful integration and cloud adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive migration efforts, with a primary focus on transitioning on-premises Active Directory environments to the cloud.
- Provide hypercare support post-migration to ensure smooth adoption.
- Access and manage existing server data during non-migration periods.
- Travel every second week to customer sites in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, working hands-on to complete migration tasks. Typical travel includes flying out Wednesday morning, working onsite Thursday and Friday.
- Support offices of varying sizes, ranging from 10 to 100 employees.
- 5+ years' experience in IT Support/Projects
- Proven experience in cloud migration projects, particularly involving Active Directory.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to deliver hypercare support.
- Willingness to travel regularly and engage directly with clients.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently on critical projects.
- Familiarity with hybrid work environments and adapting to fast-paced project schedules.
- Flexible hybrid arrangement on non-migration weeks: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.
