Category Manager - Dinner - Metro
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Category Manager to lead our strategically crucial “For Tonight” dinner offer within our Metro division. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the culinary landscape and drive significant growth for a key segment of our business.
In this role, you will be the driving force behind the success of our dinner solutions.- You will leverage your deep understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and the competitive landscape to develop and execute innovative category strategies that deliver exceptional results.
- Category Leadership - Supplier management and Collaboration through building and maintaining strong relationships. As well as working effectively with cross functional teams including the Fresh Food Precinct, Supermarkets, WFC, Strategy and Brand and Reputation.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high performing team of two, working closely with the wider Dinner team and FOMs to ensure seamless execution of category strategies at store level.

- Strong financial and category management skills

- Demonstrate strong partnership skills working cross functionally with multiple stakeholders across the group and suppliers

- Strong negotiation and influence skills with cross-functional and external stakeholders at all levels of the business.
