Agricultural and Horticultural Mobile Plant Operator
At DSATCO PTY LTD, we are excited to invite applications for a full-time (38-40 hours per week) Agricultural and Horticultural Mobile Plant Operator position.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Setting up and positioning machinery in preparation for daily production tasks
- Driving and handling a range of mobile equipment to manage soil products, mulch, and raw materials across the worksite
- Fine-tuning equipment settings such as speed, depth, and output levels to match site conditions and product requirements
- Using machinery to move, handle, and cut organic material like branches, logs, and tree trimmings
- Operating various attachments and support machines like chippers and log splitters to process raw input into finished product
- Feeding organic matter into processing equipment and managing the flow of material for efficient output and stockpiling
- Logging daily activities, production figures, and any maintenance needs in work records
- Carrying out basic servicing and small-scale repairs to keep equipment in safe, reliable condition
- The right candidate will have at least 1 year of experience
- A can-do attitude and ability of working independently.
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
