Store Manager
Are you passionate about artisan chocolate and customer service? Newly created role for a Store Manager to manage one of our stores in Melbourne.
Job Description:As the Cafe/store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Canterbury store. Your leadership will ensure that the store operates smoothly and efficiently, maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service. Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management: Assisting with rostering to ensure optimal staffing levels and team efficiencyStock Management: Ordering of stock, inventory control, and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
Banking and Financial Oversight: Handle daily banking activities
Quality Assurance: Ensure all cafe/store operations meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Implement and maintain quality assurance processes, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Supervisory Leadership: Provide strong leadership and support to the cafe/store team fostering a positive and productive work environment
Merchandising: Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and enhance the customer experience.
Training: Assist with staff training
Qualifications and experience:
Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably with experience in cafe management and/or chocolate production.An understanding of food safety standards and regulations
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in inventory management and financial oversight
An understanding of social media and marketing principles
Passion for high-quality chocolate and beverage products
Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency essential
Barista knowledge and experience is highly desirable
