Howlong Nursery are currently seeking an experienced Potted Colour and Baskets Grower.

Howlong Nursery is a wholesale grower of flowers and vegetable seedlings, potted colour and baskets, located in Howlong NSW, supplying to NSW, ACT and Victoria.

About the role: Operate Transplanting Equipment efficiently and safely

Prioritise young plants for transplanting
Select zone for fresh transplants and communicate to team
Operator greenhouse conveyor system
Maintain transplant and pot filling equipment
Operate Priva Greenhouse irrigation system
Select product for spacing
Make space each week for fresh planting
Monitor quantities and quality

Operator conveyor system for spacing and finishing product

The successful applicant will be required to have: Machine operating experience (essential)

The position is high-skilled, a minimum of 1 year relevant experience along with a formal qualification of at least a Bachelor degree is required.
Willingness to learn new skills
Have a high attention to detail and quality
Be able to work in a team environment
Great communication skills
Have a safety first mindset
Be punctual, reliable and hardworking

Available to work day shift from 7am and overtime hours if required

Full Time position

Salary $73,150 plus superannuation
