What you’ll do
The Packaging Assistant will support the Packaging Specialists to identify key areas of opportunity and outcomes throughout our supply chain.- Assisting to deliver more sustainable packaging solutions without compromising quality
- Collating and improving packaging specification data to ensure packaging is fit for purpose and meets customer needs
- Working with trading partners to develop packaging artworks and specifications that meet Woolworths standards
- Building strong relationships between internal & external stakeholders
- Staying on trend with packaging innovation, technology and legislative requirements
What you’ll bring
You are enthusiastic and have a curious mind for Packaging Technology and Sustainability. You will have great attention to detail. You are a team player able to work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver primary and secondary packaging specifications to ensure Packaging is fit for purpose and meets the needs of customers.
- A strong passion for the packaging and recycling industries
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and projects efficiently in a large organisation
- A high attention to detail and expert analytical capability
- Ability to operate and adapt within a fast paced culture of change
