About the Role:
As a Hardware Technician, you'll be integral to our operations, ensuring the efficient and secure disposal of IT assets. Your role is vital for maintaining the high standards of service our clients expect and trust. You'll be working on the front lines of technology, tackling a variety of tasks to keep our asset management processes running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on a wide array of hardware devices.
- Ensure secure wiping and disposal of IT assets in compliance with company protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of disposed assets and processed inventory.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware as needed.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and clients.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Manage incoming service requests and prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on refurbished equipment.
- Participate in staff training programs and share technical expertise.
Who We’re Looking For:
We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with the following qualifications:
- Strong understanding of computer hardware components and systems.
- Possess a technical qualification in IT.
- Proficiency in diagnosing hardware issues and implementing solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- A high level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role is required.
