Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a Restaurant Manager for a fast-paced, high-volume Italian fine-dining establishment located in a prominent waterfront location. Our focus at a'Mare is on delivering exceptional service with a touch of old-school Italian glamour, complemented by an extensive cellar.
As the Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in upholding our service-oriented philosophy and ensuring the smooth operation of our venue, reporting directly to the General Manager. With over 200 seats, this position is pivotal to our success.
Essential a'Mare Requirements:
Valid Australian working rightsMinimum of two years of managerial experience in fine dining establishments
Fluent written and spoken English
Current NSW RSA Certificate
Strong attention to detail
Formal hospitality qualifications and /or 12-36 months of work experience in the industry
A positive attitude towards customer service and teamwork
Preferred Experience:
Experience with gueridon/tableside serviceKnowledge of Italian cuisine
Completion of formal wine studies
Responsibilities include:
Continuous training and development to stay updated with industry trendsDirect reporting to the General Manager
Supervising and training front-of-house staff
Implementing cost control measures within budget guidelines
