TÜV Rheinland Australia Pty Ltd was founded in 2007 and since then TÜV Rheinland Australia has been continuously growing its presence in Australia. The main business of Australia office is to provide testing, certification and inspection service for Electrical and electronic & Medical products.

We are seeking a test engineer with minimum 2 years’ experience in product compliance / assurance role or in a testing laboratory, with attractive annual salary package (AUD$90,000 to AUD$100,000 as base and/or bonus scheme, plus superannuation) depends on the candidate’s relevant experiences and knowledge.

• Support Business Segment to develop business opportunities and let that plan results are achieved.
• Support to establish test facilities, test equipment, test tools, procedures, instructions and templates according to ISO 17025 to improve service competence.
• Proactively support to obtain and maintain all domestic and worldwide accreditation as necessary.
• Strive for technical expertise to enhance relevant technical competencies and qualification. Develop training plan, procedure or system, prepare training materials, provide internal and external training.
• Explore industry trends and conduct market analysis, grasp business opportunities, study new directive and regulations to improve technical research, create new test standards and develop new services.
• Maintain and develop good customer relationship, understand their real needs, provide professional, high-quality and customized services or solutions to them, satisfy customer needs and make sure the product to meet all requirements of related standards.
• Closely collaborate with sale team, provide technical supports to sale persons and response technical inquires actively.
• Fully support marketing campaign, develop service promotion materials, handle technical meeting, participate and support seminar, conference and exhibition as technical expert, advisor or speaker.
• Finish all tasks assigned by immediate supervisor if any.
• Review technical documents and initiate discussion with customers before and during testing.
• Prepare test set-up and conducting testing according to relevant product testing standard.
• Ensure the client’s order is fulfilled as agreed, accurately and within scheduled time.
• Timely schedule and deliver services according to customer requirements, quality documentation, work instructions and controlled documents and standards.
• Maintain awareness of calibration requirements and equipment.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the work area.
• Understand the technical information needed and process to be able to make technical decisions to help advise sales staff and clients

• Maintain good relationship with team and across departments.
• Encourage to achieve X-Seg/BF/BS/location/region collaboration.

About You

• Master degree of engineering science (photovoltaics and solar energy).
• Professional experience: 3-6 years of related working experiences. Solid experience in LCA is advantage.
• Specialty Know how: good technical skills, project handling or new service developing in background of sustainability materials, physics, chemistry, EE, Solar etc.
• Good communication and language skills, good team-work, self-initiative, proactive, hard-working, open for experiences sharing and coaching.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Have practical experience in testing setup and laboratory equipment, hands on approach.
