Clinical Nurse - SurgiNet SAA Stream, ieMR Project

Over the coming years, significant capital works are being undertaken, including hospital construction and refurbishment and the implementation of the ie MR Advanced solution across all Metro North facilities. Achieving the aims of the strategy requires a dedicated team with the knowledge, determination, and skills to deliver quality results.

The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Application of advanced nursing informatics and clinical nursing expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, to support the delivery of a high standard of consumer/person centred care utilising digital workflows.
• Ability to respond appropriately to, and provide support and direction to manage, sudden alterations in the health status of the consumer/person using advanced nursing/midwifery assessment and intervention skills.
• Provide teaching to both consumers/persons and their families to facilitate learning and enable them to move towards independence.
• Demonstrate advanced clinical skills and problem-solving relevant to the care of consumer/person within the ie MR Surgi Net/SAA Stream to facilitate the successful implementation of ie MR.

• This role reports directly to the Clinical Nurse Consultant Digital Perioperative Coordinator, ie MR Program
• This role will work directly with DMN project and clinical informatics teams and facility based clinical teams across Metro North Health.
