We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Project Coordinator (Project Officer) to work collaboratively across the organisation and deliver change.
Your background
- Coordinate and plan all aspects of work related to project admin/support to ensure it delivers outcomes necessary to realise benefits as agreed by the project/program sponsors under the direction of project/program managers.
- Proactively support and apply a structured project management approach and methodology, ensuring adherence to internal frameworks, processes and practices to effectively manage all aspects of the project.
- Maintain the project repository/site and governance reporting requirements.
- Support maintenance of work plans, schedules, project estimates and resource plans.
- Identify risks/issues from an administrative perspective, develop plans to mitigate/resolve and implement these in a timely manner, measuring effectiveness.
- Assist/support in the project procurement process
You will be reporting to the Portfolio Assurance and Control Manager and be part of a highly collaborative, diverse team with a great supportive culture and also work with the business teams/partners. Our people collaborate, share their expertise, drive innovation and solve complex business challenges.
Your background
- Previous solid experience working in a similar position providing administrative support to projects teams and project management. IT Project Coordinator experience is preferred but not required
- Working knowledge and understanding of project methodology
- Experience with using various people and financial related systems
- A strong proactive approach and take initiative where you see opportunity
- Qualifications related to Project Management would be advantageous
