About the role
As an Accountant in the EIA division, you'll report to the CFO and be responsible for financial reporting and month-end closing processes. Your key responsibilities will include preparing due diligence packs, ensuring account accuracy, and facilitating business-as-usual reporting while supporting M&A projects.We're looking for an accountant with 3-4+ years of experience who is adept with Xero, Excel, and PowerPoint, and has experience in larger industry settings.

What you'll be doing:
- Prepare and process accounts for our investee companies including cashflow managment, payroll, banking, bank reconcilations, accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end financial reporting for board reporting.
- Support in the preparation of financial materials for due diligence processes.
- Facilitate standard business reporting while managing project-based financials for M&A activities.
- Review and maintain account accuracy, ensuring all accounts are up to date.
- Collaborate with the team to continually improve reporting processes and practices.
Requirements
We want to hear from people who have:
- 3-4+ years of experience in an accounting role.
- Strong proficiency in Xero and advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and think autonomously in closing accounts.
- Experience in larger industry settings is preferred, with exposure to international organisations viewed favorably.
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
