About the role
We are seeking for an Accounts Assistant to work within a team.
Job tasks and responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure financial records are accurate
  • Help prepare and process invoices and payments.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Support the finance team with month-end closing tasks.
  • Lend a hand with various admin tasks as directed by our finance team.
  • Invoicing
  • Debtor Chasing
  • Assist with other projects as needed and backup other accounting tasks in absence
  • Timesheet and room count reconciliation
Requirements
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Word and excel
  • Ability to learn financial system quickly
  • Preferred experience in XERO but not essential
  • Efficiency and attention to detail, even when working within strict time frames
  • Confidence in work prioritisation and managing your own workload while still being a committed team player
  • Adaptability, professionalism and high level of confidentiality
  • Highly developed interpersonal kills with excellent understanding of English Language
  • Excellent time management skills with customer service focus and sense of urgency

About you:

  • Experience in finance or accounting within the hospitality sector is a plus but not essential.
  • Accounting background is preferred but not essential
  • Availability to work from Monday to Thursday
  • Must have Full Work Rights
